Arctic Ice Boots are generously sized, flexible ice boots designed to give good coverage over the intended area. Four elasticated straps allow for flexible fitting so they can be used anywhere on the horse's limb.
24 pockets of Hypo-Freeze gel contour around the limb for maximum surface contact with tendons and joints. This gel delivers an intense 'arctic' freeze effect for the optimal time required for the cooling effect to take effect.
Regular use of the Arctic Ice Boots for short periods (20-30 minutes) after intense exercise for preventative purposes to ensure ligaments, tendons and joints remain tight. The sooner the temperature of tendons can be reduced after work, the better. This applies to high intensity dressage as well as galloping, jumping and cross country.
