Contoured shape allows maximum freedom & space behind the elbow
Scalloped shaped ends even pressure under the buckles, which are splayed and set at a slight angle
Allows less restricted movement of the front legs and can improve stride length
Enhances saddle stability and eliminates discomfort & rubbing
A minute degree of elestication is built into each buckle attachment - just enough for flexibility without affecting saddle fit or girth tension
